New Business:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Picnic Chair \u2013 John \u2013 <\/span>Scheduled for Saturday, October 5<sup>th<\/sup> @ Broad Bent Park, Boulder City.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Workshop Chair \u2013 Cherie\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 &#8211; <\/span>update on Spring Workshop, Keeping it Green, March 16<sup>th<\/sup> @ Camel Club, 2p \u2013 4p<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Chairs, table, podium at the club; can hold up to 70 people.<\/li>\n<li>Splitting 7<sup>th<\/sup> Tradition 50\/50 and each District is contributing $50 apiece.<\/li>\n<li>Kenny from District 1 will pick up 10 pizzas (7 pep, 3 cheese) from Little Caesars and deliver to Camel by 1:30pm.<\/li>\n<li>Cherie will ask District 9 to bring plates, soda, water and napkins, ice.\u00a0 If Dist 9 cannot, Cherie will contact Lynn, Dist 1, to bring.<\/li>\n<li>Each district provides own flyers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><i>GSR\u2019s \u2013 Please announce this at each meeting this week!\u00a0 Flyer available on website.\u00a0 <\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p>The group thanked Cherie for her excellent work!<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">PICPC \u2013 Cherie \u2013 (Public Information &amp; Cooperation with the Professional Community)<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Meetings held the third Monday of each month, 6pm, Central Office.<\/li>\n<li>Need young speakers to speak on panels in local High Schools.\u00a0 No visible tattoos, piercing.\u00a0 No profanity.<\/li>\n<li>Panel scheduled 4\/23 and 4\/24 at Bishop Gorman High School, 8am \u2013 2pm.\n<ul>\n<li>5\/3 at Palo Verde High School, 8am \u2013 2pm<\/li>\n<li>Tentative panels for AARP and RN school in May if there are enough volunteers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Please contact Mary, PICPC co-chair, at 702-306-3093, if you can assist or recommend volunteers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">H&amp;I \u2013 Tony (Liaison)<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Meetings held the third Tuesday of each month, 6pm, Central Office.<\/li>\n<li>CCDC meetings on hold due to the County\u2019s budgeting constraints (staffing cuts).<\/li>\n<li>Background checks necessary to volunteer with correctional facilities.<\/li>\n<li>List of current meetings held at hospitals and institutions provided to group.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Grapevine Rep \u2013 Ted<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Meetings held the second Friday of each month, 6pm, Central Office.<\/li>\n<li>Ted maintains a supply of grapevines on hand if any GSR would like to purchase several for their home group.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Tonopah \u00a0April 5 \u2013 7th, 2013 Update: Jake thanked the GSR\u2019s that attended the Round Tables last week!<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><i>The finalized agenda items are pending and subject to change without notice<\/i>.<\/li>\n<li>We discussed tentative 7 points \u2013 <b>these points are not definite<\/b>:\u00a0 La Vina, developing literature focused on spirituality, add an index to the Big Book, add \u201cnone left behind\u201d as a sub-title to the AA and Armed Services pamphlet, change short version of Tradition 11 to include social\/electronic media, establish a Facebook page (Trustee Committee recommends \u201cno\u201d), use commissioned on-line retailers to sell AA digital downloads.<\/li>\n<li>*When the \u201cofficial\u201d agenda is received, it will be emailed to GSR\u2019s and posted on the website.\u00a0 At that time, GSR\u2019s please obtain feedback from your home group regarding each topic to bring the group conscious to the Assembly.\n<ul>\n<li>\u201cTrusted Servant\u201d\u00a0\u00a0 (great reference: <a href=\"http:\/\/silkworth.net\/pdfBillW\/Bill-W-12-Concepts-World-Service-3rd-Concept.pdf\">http:\/\/silkworth.net\/pdfBillW\/Bill-W-12-Concepts-World-Service-3rd-Concept.pdf<\/a> ).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>The Stepping Out group will be given a donation for Tonopah, as the groups\u2019 funds were stolen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">PRAASA Update \u2013 Jake delivered a PRAASA update.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">\u00a0Hotline \u2013 Ted can be reached at 702-335-5455<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Meetings held during the Intergroup meeting, second Monday of each month, 6pm, Central Office.<\/li>\n<li>Volunteers needed for 4 or 8 hour shifts.<\/li>\n<li>Captains (1 or 2) needed for Wednesday shifts to ensure the volunteers can take the calls and act as the back-up if they cannot!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Libby proposed an addition to the meeting format; each GSR to introduce self and briefly present any news on their home group.\u00a0 The group approved and will add.<\/p>\n<p>Charlie shared flyers for the Thursday 7pm Specific Group speaker meeting (3945 E. Patrick Lane Suite F).\u00a0 Upcoming speakers:\u00a0 Frank K, Mary Lou, Fern.\u00a0 Format:\u00a0 10 minute speaker, break, birthdays, 1 hour speaker.<\/p>\n<p>The 7pm Friday night Stepping Out meeting changed format; now reading through all AA approved literature (Community Church 360 E. Horizon Drive).<\/p>\n<p><b><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">IV.
