He opened with the Serenity Prayer and the GSR Preamble.<\/p>\n<p>II\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Minutes (Carol H.)<\/p>\n<p>Carol emailed the minutes from January\u2019s meeting.\u00a0 She received one small correction regarding the motion for DaNella to attend PRAASA this year.\u00a0 Correction was made to indicate the motion passed as a onetime event.\u00a0 Motion made, was seconded, and passed.<\/p>\n<p>III \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Treasurer (Ralph W.)<\/p>\n<p>Ralph reported starting balance of the checking account is 2,510.38 plus contributions of 966.51 equals an ending balance of 3,476.89. The savings account current balance 1,454.88.<\/p>\n<p>IV\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 DCM report (Louis P.)<\/p>\n<p>Lou passed around a list of all the meetings in D1, approximately 100, for review and comments on if the groups have a GSR or if the meeting still exists.<\/p>\n<p>D1 will be hosting the Area Assembly in Tonopah this March 31<sup>st<\/sup> through April 2<sup>nd<\/sup>.\u00a0 Volunteers are needed to host the 7 a.m. AA meetings and the speaker meeting, provide and upkeep of the snacks, set up for the banquet, and conduct the sobriety countdown.\u00a0 DaNella has a signup sheet.\u00a0 The Area Conference Committee\u2019s have received their background information on the agenda items.<\/p>\n<p>V\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 ADCM report (DaNella K.)<\/p>\n<p>DaNella is handling the volunteer list for the positions D1 has committed to take on at the Area Assembly.\u00a0 Please contact DaNella if you are interested in volunteering. She will contact NACYPAA for assistance in volunteering again, as they did so at the last Assembly and were very helpful.<\/p>\n<p>VI\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Intros and Group reports.<\/p>\n<p>Present were Carol H. A clean up and inventory was done on all supplies and some items that wouldn\u2019t keep, and some literature, were donated to meetings.\u00a0 This year\u2019s picnic will be on October\u00a0 14<sup>th<\/sup>, one week after the Gratitude Ball (October 7<sup>th<\/sup>\u201d).<\/li>\n<li>Workshops \u2013 (Kevin L.) Lots of ideas were submitted and discussed regarding the topics for this year\u2019s workshops.\u00a0 Kevin indicated that the first workshop will probably take place mid April.\u00a0 More information to come.<\/li>\n<li>Archives Liaison \u2013 (Diana M) Diana reported that Ronny works every Saturday in the Archives room at Central Office from 9:30-11 a.m. All are welcome to help.<\/li>\n<li>H &amp; I (Kimberly W.) \u2013 Kimberly reported that the H &amp; I Committee meets on the third Tuesday of the month at Central Office. There is a 20-minute orientation class held at 5:30. This is a hybrid meeting. Volunteers and panel leaders are needed for hospitals, institutions and jails. There are 3 opportunities all located in NY: Controller, Editor &amp; Editorial Assistant (LaVi\u00f1a Magazine,<\/li>\n<li>Please visit AA GRAPEVINE, Inc.\u00a0 AA Grapevine is collecting 7-minute long audio stories from the Fellowship for the audio project. \u00a0Your choice of topic and you can submit two different ways: the project voicemail system at 559-726-1216, or submit your own digital recording via smart phone or other mobile device. Send a recording via email to: <a href=\"mailto:webcoord@aagrapevine.org\">webcoord@aagrapevine.org<\/a>.\u00a0AA does not accept audio recordings from meetings.\u00a0 Audio tapes made by other AA members are available at AA Grapevine\u2019s dedicated YouTube channel. Three topics highlighted are: Sponsorship, Voices of Women, and From Relapse to Recovery.\u00a0 You can find GV information on The Meeting Guide APP, click on News on the bottom and scroll down to GV.<\/li>\n<li>Hotline (Paul H.) \u2013 D1 now has the 2<sup>nd<\/sup> Sunday of each month for the hotline. Hours are 8 p.m. (Sunday)\u00a0 through 8 a.m. (Monday).\u00a0 Anyone interested should add their name to the list the Paul has passed around.<\/li>\n<li>PI\/CPC \u2013 (Bob V) \u2013 Bob reported that on Thurs, April 13, 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Central Office, there will be a roundtable discussion on \u2018How AA Cooperates with Professionals.\u2019<\/li>\n<li>Intergroup \u2013 (Mike S.) Mike reported that the Las Vegas Central Office is accepting resumes for the Board of Director position, which needs a minimum of 5 years sobriety.<\/li>\n<li>12 Step volunteers are highly needed.\u00a0 Contact Todd at 702\/351-2013. The UFCW (United Food and Commercial Workers) will be holding their national convention at the Mirage Hotel, April 24<sup>th<\/sup> through 27<sup>th<\/sup>; they have requested 4 AA members to volunteer per day, 6:30 a.m. to 7:15 a.m. Also, volunteers are needed to staff a literature table on site.<\/li>\n<li>The deadline for any articles\/flyers, etc., for the Silver Streak is the 20<sup>th<\/sup> of each month.\u00a0 Gratitude Ball is October 7<sup>th<\/sup> at the Palace Station.\u00a0 Tickets are $65.00; Cathy will be chairing a planning meeting at Central Office, April 3rd, 6 p.m.\u00a0 Volunteers are needed.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>VIII\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Tradition Summary<\/p>\n<p>Bob V. presented Tradition 2.\u00a0 Diane O. will present Tradition 3 next month.<\/p>\n<p>IX\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Concept Summary<\/p>\n<p>DaNella presented Concept 2.\u00a0 Ralph will present Concept 3 next month.<\/p>\n<p>X\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Passed the basket for the 7<sup>th<\/sup> Tradition.<\/p>\n<p>XI\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Old Business \u2013 None<\/p>\n<p>XII\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 New Business \u2013 Ralph mentioned that Diana M. has an article published in the March issue of the grapevine.<\/p>\n<p>DaNella K. announced a successful turnout for volunteers on the 26<sup>th<\/sup> annual Women\u2019s Day event. This will held around September or October.\u00a0 More information to come.<\/p>\n<p>Dano mentioned that D5 is having a workshop, April 15<sup>th<\/sup>.\u00a0 Topic is:\u00a0 12 Steps, 12 Traditions and 12 Concepts.<\/p>\n<p>XIII\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Meeting closed at 11:10 a.m.<\/p>\n<p>Next meeting: March 19, 10:15 a.m. at Central Office, 1515 E.
