I\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The meeting was held at The Lost and Found, 544 Avenue H, Boulder City, NV 89005.\u00a0 It was chaired by Marty. He opened with the serenity prayer and the GSR Preamble.<\/p>\n

II\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Minutes (Colleen D.) Colleen emailed the minutes from the last meeting and received no corrections or additions.\u00a0 Motion was made and seconded.\u00a0 Motion approved.<\/p>\n

III \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Treasurer (Louis P.)<\/p>\n

Lou reported: September\u2019s beginning balance: checking, $6,859.27 plus contributions\/deposits, $516.87, less expense $1,606.97, ending balance, $5769.71.\u00a0 Savings account $854.51, plus interest earned $.01, ending balance, $854.52.<\/p>\n

IV\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 DCM report (Marty B.) Marty will attend the SAGSC & D1 meeting in November, however, due to his relocating, Jake will conduct the December meeting of D1 elections.<\/p>\n

V\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 No ADCM report (Ruthie B.)<\/p>\n

  2. Workshops \u2013 (Chuck T. & Ruthie B.) Marty spoke to Chuck and he will report under New Business.<\/li>\n
  3. Archives Liaison \u2013 (Diana M) No report.<\/li>\n
  4. H & I (Kevin L.) – November Board Elections are next month, By Laws will be presented at the next month\u2019s meeting. New volunteers need to attend orientation at 5:30 prior to the monthly meeting.<\/li>\n
  5. Grapevine (Janey) – No report<\/li>\n
  6. Hotline (Paul H.) \u2013 Still no word from Central Office on filling in for the hotline.<\/li>\n
  7. PI\/CPC \u2013 (Bob V) \u2013 Monthly meetings at Central Office, 2nd Monday, 4 p.m. Robin is leaving and elections are coming up. Volunteers needed:\u00a0 October 19th<\/sup> 9-4, Clark County Health Fair, Clark County Government Center.\u00a0 November 22nd<\/sup>, 9-4, Nevada Homeless Alliance, The Silver Nugget Casino & Events Center.<\/li>\n
  8. Intergroup \u2013 (Craig C.) \u2013 Gratitude Ball was a success with over 350 people in attendance.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    VIII\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Tradition Summary<\/p>\n

    Ralph W. presented Tradition 10. Lou P. will present Tradition 11 next month.<\/p>\n

    There was mention that the upcoming Area 42 newsletter will be publishing a very interesting and informative article on Tradition Ten.<\/p>\n

    IX\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Concept Summary<\/p>\n

    Karinda R. presented Concept 10. Tom H. will present Concept 11 next month.<\/p>\n

    X\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Old Business \u2013 No old business.<\/p>\n

    XI\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 New Business \u2013<\/p>\n

    District Budget for 2023 \u2013 Budget was reviewed, and discussion was held on whether to allocate funding for the ADMC to attend Area Assemblies.<\/p>\n

    Ruthie, ADCM, requested reimbursement of her recent fall Assembly expenses, motion was made, seconded and unanimously approved to reimburse her $300.00.<\/p>\n

    Regarding the Proposed D1 Budget for 2023, line 3 should read:<\/p>\n

    $1,700.00 – DCM\/ADCM Expenses \u2013 Two Assemblies each, plus DCM only to PRASSA.<\/p>\n

    D1 Guidelines need to be amended and the Guidelines Committee: Lou, Libby, Marty, will do so and bring back the amended Guidelines to November\u2019s meeting for a first reading.\u00a0 Upon approval, the second reading will be at the December meeting.<\/p>\n

    Motion made to approve Proposed D1 Budget for 2023 as amended, seconded and unanimously approved.<\/p>\n

    Distribution of excess District funds \u2013 Discussion held and unanimously approved to send GSO $1,500.00, C. O. $500.00.<\/p>\n

    Workshop possibilities for this year \u2013 Craig was approved to hold a workshop at Central Office, December 11th<\/sup>, 2-4 p.m. with bbq and Billy as the Speaker.<\/p>\n

    Workshop Chair \u2013 Craig volunteered and was unanimously approved as temporary chair until the end of this year.<\/p>\n

    Meeting closed at 11:25. a.m.<\/p>\n
