{"id":166,"date":"2011-03-29T16:45:53","date_gmt":"2011-03-30T00:45:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/districtone-nv.org\/?p=166"},"modified":"2023-01-12T21:29:29","modified_gmt":"2023-01-12T21:29:29","slug":"march-26-2011-minutes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/districtone-nv.org\/index.php\/2011\/03\/29\/march-26-2011-minutes\/","title":{"rendered":"March 26, 2011 &#8211; Minutes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Unofficial attendance was 25 at the District 1 Meeting in Tonopah.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Emily began the meeting with a moment of silence and the Serenity Prayer.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Jake read the GSR Preamble.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Introductions were made by the GSR\u2019s and members in attendance.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Noted that there were 139 topics for the next Conference. \u00a0Our roster was passed around to update and make necessary changes.<\/p>\n<p>Minutes approved for February.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Treasurer\u2019s Report: <\/strong>Alan gave report, it was approved. For full report contact <a href=\"mailto:treas@districtone-nv.org\">treas@districtone-nv.org<\/a><\/p>\n<p>7<sup>th<\/sup> tradition basket passed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>DCM report &#8211; <\/strong>PRAASA 2011 in Hawaii<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Emily gave report and shared some ideas.\u00a0 See New Business: Welcome packets etc.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Irene gave report on new email system.<\/strong>\u00a0 Each group and officer will have their own email designated by group or office and can be passed to incoming GSRs and officers.\u00a0 Go to the website \u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/districtone-nv.org\/\">https:\/\/districtone-nv.org\/<\/a>\u00a0 and browse.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<strong>Kariene gave a report on the picnic.<\/strong> She may have found a DJ and asked for supplies left over from last year so she could do inventory. Ted volunteered to grill and one back up is possible.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Curtis gave workshop report. <\/strong>Asked for ideas on workshops.\u00a0 Items suggested were\u00a0 Service, Sponsorship and 3 Legacies of Service. Intent is to give to new GSRs. Also suggested visiting non-active groups .\u00a0 Suggested we can do this and work on this together. Discussion about GSR funding at the three levels; Group, District and Area.<\/p>\n<p>Motion to proceed.
