Emily began the District Meeting with a moment of silence and then the Serenity Prayer. Jake read the GSR Preamble. 20 GSR\u2019s, officers or alternates attended.<\/p>\n

Introductions:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Personal introductions were made by each GSR.<\/p>\n

DCM Business:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 January minutes approved.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Michelle brought up that GSR\u2019s need to fill out forms and get to her and should be updated at least every two years.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Emily explained that input from groups on Roundtable topics for February 26th need to be sent to Charlie at chill@hillworks.com or Emily by Sat, February 19th. This information has been shared by email to those on District 1\u2019s emailing list.<\/p>\n

Treasurer\u2019s Report<\/strong>:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Alan gave Treasurer\u2019s report. District one Jan. balance was $2817.70 and is now $2,708.69<\/p>\n

Will provide attachment.<\/p>\n

\u2022 The 7th tradition basket was passed.<\/p>\n

Picnic Report<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Karine is chair and Janice is co-chair. Karin gave report. Irene offered to do flyers. Karine mentioned a face painter, and the jumping room will be back this year.\u00a0 Ice cream is Anette.\u00a0 Jake suggested T-Shirts and will check on cost.\u00a0\u00a0 Also Archives and The Grapevine tables\u00a0 should be back. \u201c NO PETS\u201d should be prominently displayed on flyers so nobody\u2019s dog has to sit in the car. They hate that.<\/p>\n

Old Business:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Irene as Webservant suggested WordPress to simplify so anyone could administer the website instead of relying on a techno Webster.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Switch to Just Host as domain holder with unlimited bandwidth, email accounts and space.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Each groups\u2019 GSR would have an email designated to group by group number. Incoming GSR\u2019s would have previous GSR\u2019s records<\/p>\n

\u2022 Voted and Passed.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Workshop Chairperson missing tabled till Tonopah assembly.<\/p>\n

\u2022 District 1\u2019s next meeting will be in main room at Tonopah Sat at noon, probably near the<\/p>\n

beverage counter. Blue room is being used for open AA meeting.<\/p>\n

New Business:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 New H&I person asked what H&I functions are subsidized by the Area or District. \u00a0Discussion<\/p>\n

followed. Alan pointed out pink cans are presently doing the job and it is funded separately.<\/p>\n
