She will have more information next month.<\/p>\n<p>\n\n<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>F.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong><strong>Hotline\/ 12 Step List \u2013 Libby (interim liaison)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\n\n<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Shifts are available. They can be filled by an individual or a group.\u00a0 Volunteers are always needed for the hotline shifts and for the 12 step list.\u00a0 The shift is from 8 pm-8am.<\/p>\n<p>\n\n<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>G.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 PI\/CPC \u2013 Bob H<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\n\n<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Bob attended 1<sup>st<\/sup> PI\/CPC meeting.\u00a0 John H is the new chair for this committee.\u00a0 Bob and he discussed the use of Public Service Announcements as a tool to spred the AA message to the still suffering alcoholic.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\n\n<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Members of the committee have still been placing information in venues such as Doctor\u2019s offices, treatment centers, etc.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\n\n<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">H. <strong>Intergroup<\/strong> \u2013 Donella read Caroline\u2019s report of the last Intergroup meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As I mentioned on Sunday, Intergroup meets the 2<sup>nd<\/sup> Monday ( January 11<sup>th<\/sup>).\u00a0 The Zoom info (recurring monthly) is:\u00a0 845 2256 3005\u00a0 pw: 509081\u00a0 Everyone is welcome to attend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Judy, the new Central Office Manager introduced herself.\u00a0 She can be reached at the office 702-598-1888 or via email at <a href=\"mailto:JudyAA710@gmail.com\">JudyAA710@gmail.com<\/a>. The office is open Monday \u2013 Friday 8 am \u2013 4 pm.\u00a0 There are 4 in-office hotline shifts available.\u00a0 Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 8-noon. (forgot to assign during meeting)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>VI.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong><strong>Old Business<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Libby mentioned that there is a substantial amount of money in the district treasury right now.\u00a0 Since there is no traveling to service events at this time, a discussion ensued about whether to continue to keep the money in the treasury or to distribute it to the service entities such as Area 42, Las Vegas Central Office, or the General Service Office in New York.\u00a0 While some felt that we should keep the money so that funds are available in the future, Claudia B reminded us that it is not wise to accumulate a large amount of funds in our treasuries.\u00a0 It often causes problems.\u00a0 It was decided that the GSRs would take this information back to their group\u2019s business meeting, explain that there is an excess and get a group conscience regarding disbursement.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>VII.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong><strong>New Business<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Libby mentioned to the new GSRs that registration for PRAASA\u00a0 (Pacific Region Alcoholics Anonymous Service Assembly) is now open.\u00a0 This year it is on zoom.\u00a0 Registration is $15.00.\u00a0 It is a wonderful way to learn more about General Service and is well worth the time involved.\u00a0 Funds are available if you cannot afford it.\u00a0 Contact Libby if you need assistance at eagarry@hotmail.com.<\/p>\n<p>\n\n<\/p>\n<p>B.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Jake is our new Alternate Delegate for Panel 71.\u00a0 In that position, \u00a0one of Jake\u2019s main functions and focuses will be the Area Conference Committees.
