Joan called the meeting (at Lost and found Boulder City, Nevada) to order at 10:30am with the serenity prayer and GSR preamble. Room was packed with 22 in attendance and plenty of food and fun for all with our end of the year pot luck, district meeting, and tradition 12 workshop.

III. Committee Reports:
A. Picnic (Kerri): The district one annual picnic was a big success! Kerri thanked everyone for all of their help and support. She reserved the park for next year’s picnic which will be held the second Saturday in October.
B. Workshops (Open): Workshop chair currently open. Joan explained the position and talked about some of our past workshops.
C. Archives (Open):Archives position currently open. Joan explained the position and Libby has some district one archives at her house.
D. H&I (Bob V): Bob talked about the H&I position and about the new “meetings to go”. He explained meeting to go takes meetings to people who cannot go out to a regular meeting for any reason.
E. Grapevine (Dean): Dean went to the grapevine meeting that was held at the Westgate during the Las Vegas roundup. The roundup was a big success for the Grapevine committee. The new Grapevine chair will be April J. and she will be taking over January 1st.
F. Hotline (Open): Libby is currently acting as our hotline “Captain”. She coordinates with the hotline committee and lets them know what district one member will be doing our first Monday 8-8 commitment. A vote was made that the new incoming district one hotline Liaison will now take care of this. Another vote was taken to reaffirm district one’s commitment to doing the first Monday from 8pm to 8am shift which was passed unanimously.
G. PI/CPC (Janey): Janey gave an explanation of what PI CPC does and what the district one Liaison does.
H. Intergroup (Jake): Central office is currently down to one month’s prudent reserve. Central Office could really use our support. Starting in 2019 the central office structure will be changing to a board of directors. There will be 1, 2, and 3-year positions. If you are interested in serving you can attend the Intergroup meeting that will be held the second Monday at 6pm at the central office in January. There is a section called meeting in the spot light where members can submit an article about their meeting or group. The space is half page only. Please do not mention specific members.Saturday December 15th H&I will be holding a workshop at the keep it real club from from 1pm to 5pm.
