I. Approve October Minutes – were not posted.
II. Treasurers Report – Kariene – approved and available upon request.
· Approved to renew two domain names; Kariene will renew for over one year if discount is available.
· Hosting service payment will be due in August.
· All approved purchase of supplies necessary to mail thank you letters (stamps, envelopes, paper).
· Kariene will update the report to add the breakdown of the District 1 picnic supplies as provided by Libby.
III. Business:
Picnic Chair – Libby – Picnic successful outdoors! Total cost $1409.96, $158.75 collected in donations. Unused food and beverage to be used during November’s workshop. Libby created an inventory sheet listing supplies needed for next year. Libby paid for the building next year and has the receipt. Libby will chair next year and is requesting a co-chair in 2014 that will commit to become chair in 2015. Jake scheduled to speak.
*GSR’s to submit volunteers names during December Meeting. Need 2 years sobriety, transportation and phone.
Workshop Chair – Cherie – Glen, DCM from District 13, joined the Meeting. Workshop “Gratitude in Action” scheduled for Saturday, November 19th, Triangle Club, 2pm – 4:30pm. Dan K is the intro speaker and Cherie N is the main speaker. Dist. 1 to contribute beverages from picnic and $50; District 13 to match funds and coordinate the refreshments.
PICPC – Cherie – Has taken on Committee Chair position. Claudia stepped up to be District 1 liaison. Call for lots of volunteers to assist with the PICPC events and will prepare of schedule of events to share later this month.
H&I – Tony (Liaison) – Meeting Tuesday, 6pm, Central Office.
Grapevine – Libby – Meetings held the second Friday, 6pm, Central Office.
· Can order bulk (20) of past issues to contribute to H&I events for $10.
· Please announce during meetings. Ideas: a meeting can purchase a subscription for the meeting, or purchase a subscription as a donation to any institution/jail or subscribe on-line.
· Meeting agreed to hold a “Grapevine workshop” in 2014.
Hotline – Ted – Meetings held the second Monday at 6:30pm at Central Office, small room. Openings on the schedule, please contact Ted directly to volunteer at 702-335-5455. Please announce during meetings.
IV. New Business –
Chili Cook-off! District 1 to host. Libby will check available dates in February at the Community Church on Horizon and Greenway. Will combine a mini grapevine workshop with the chili cook-off; create posters of the Grapevine to place behind each station (Irene?). Lynn to assist Libby.
