Introductions all around, (21 attendees) and minutes for August approved.
Jake gave treasurers’ report for Alan. Available upon request.
Jake also mentioned renewal of license to State for nonprofit. Discussion followed. May no longer be necessary for bank acc. Emily and Jake will check on it.
7th Tradition passed.
Picnic report; Sep 17th meeting for District 1 picnic will be at Kariene’s house. Call 501-5019 for directions. Kariene is interviewing DJ for $200+/- with sound for Speaker Meeting included. No Pets allowed by park rules. Face painter will be available. (Needs Shade) Tank of Helium donated. Bouncy Castle with a slide. Snow cone machine and cake arranged. Flyers are in the Silver Streak and on Dist 1 site.
Old Business: Curtis gave Workshop report. Site for workshop is the Triangle 19th. Flyer posted on Dist one website.
New GSR packets tabled till next Dist meeting.

Cherie brought up how to be better bridges of info to groups, identifying groups without GSRs.
